MOVING LANGUAGE

Experiencing reality beyond the veil of language

What to Expect

During this retreat you will find a deeper sense of belonging to all there is, including other humans and the rest of nature. You will also uncover your unique expression and creative potential. Your perspective on (your) life will have changed.

you feel like you live in a fragmented world — and at the same time, you sense that this is just a way of seeing things. There is another way… but you can’t quite grasp it.

Let me give you a key.

Babies don’t feel separate. Animals don’t either.
They are life. Reality. Completeness.
Why?
They don’t use language.

I believe we can find a powerful key in language.
We are all deeply immersed in it.
We speak it, we think in it, write it, dream in it...
Language is the veil between us and undivided reality.

In my research, I’ve discovered a way to use language differently.
By prioritising verbs over subjects and objects, we begin to speak a language that doesn’t divide — but instead reveals the interconnected flow of reality.
A language that reflects the wholeness we are part of.

Adopting this alternative mode of speaking shifts our experience.
It brings a sense of completeness. Of deep connection.
And the surprising thing? It also makes our language more poetic.
We still get to enjoy the poetry of being human — but without the illusion of separation.

  • Moving Language creates, as it were, an open field — almost inaudibly soft. With a very fine vibration, this language juggles with purity, with love, with simplicity… it flows in and out… undulating, graceful… like a dance.

    Participant of Moving Language Retreat

  • “I” and “you” fade away, and the verb colours the movement of what is happening! Surprising what this does! Through movement, dance, meditation, silence, mirroring, walking, cooking, sharing… the verbs come alive. Time shifts from time to space. A natural flow within us is touched. Connecting! In the connection with ourselves, with each other, with the elements, I feel one breath, one beating heart, a warm sense of HOME — a remembering of BEING! Thank you, Zoë, for taking us along in this dance!

    Participant of Moving Language retreat

  • With the disappearance of “I” from language, merging with the elements occurred.

    Participant of Moving Language retreat

  • Attending a language inquiry retreat late October was such a wonderful gift. Becoming movement by becoming and using verbs mainly. Away from the separateness of so called things I moved like the wind, became the river, flew like a bird, watered like rain, dampened in rocks. One-ing with co-participants and sharing our dreams. Thank you Amiglia, thank you Zoë, forever hearting together...
