Free Online Talk about Moving Language⎪Wednesday 18 March 20h
Join us for an evening with Zoe Joncheere, as she shares her ongoing, participative research developed at Amiglia — and shaped through years of travel, writing, and lived inquiry.
Drawing on her work as a linguist, writer, and researcher of the nature of reality, Zoe explores how language is not a neutral tool to describe reality, but shapes how we experience reality —how we feel, move, and relate. She will introduce the principles of Moving Language and offer concrete examples of how to begin working with it in everyday life.
Zoe will also share what a Moving Language week at Amiglia involves: a practice that lifts the veil of language and brings us back to a direct experience of ultimate reality.
Language is everywhere. What if we could sense how it affects us — and learn how it might guide us back toward a felt sense of wholeness?

Chickens, Music and Church Bells
It’s two weeks since we’ve reopened Amiglia for a new cycle of growing, exploring, uploading and storing. It’s quite incredible how much has happened in the past two weeks: a lot of clearing and rearranging, weeding and feeding (of the newly added chickens!), and reconnecting with our dear neighbours: old Italian farmers and newly arrived regenerative farmers. Our neighbour/contractor Marco has started building a water tank so we can collect more rain water.
Amiglia Waking up + Free Online Event
We are uncovering Amiglia after her winter sleep. It’s only been a few days and the place has already become a meeting point of energy and love, to tidy, clean, weed, pile, saw — and bring back the chickens after their winter stay at our neighbour’s. We feel blessed to be able to share our Amiglia morning practice and meals with each other — some in the sun and some at the wood stove.
Our Renewed Website
Amiglia is calling us back. And we’re about ready with our preparations from a distance, ready to rediscover Amiglia, to re-open the many shutters of the house, to check the fruit trees on their first buds, to greet our neighbours, to take in the scenery of the rolling hills, and to share meals with each other at our sun deck behind the house.
Be Our Guest
In three weeks or so, Zoë and Rian will wake up Amiglia from her winter sleep, together with a few helping guests. A new cycle will start.
At first it will still be quite cold, but soon we’ll see the early signs of spring – every day another blossom or wildflower ready to show its subtle beauty.
Uncover Your True Nature
In this newsletter, would like to highlight the retreat Uncover Your True Nature - the first one of the new season.
The essence of this retreat is very much the essence of Amiglia. We remember how to live naturally. How we are much more the interconnectedness, the space in between, than anything else.
Remembering How to Live Naturally
Join us for an evening of reflection and inspiration as Zoe shares the story and unfolding of Amiglia — our intentional community and retreat space.
This talk is for those who feel a quiet longing for a more natural way of living.
For people curious about co-living, sharing life, and creating from trust rather than force.
For those seeking personal growth that comes from simplicity, connection, and being in service of something larger than the individual.
