Chickens, Music and Church Bells
Dear friends,
It’s two weeks since we’ve reopened Amiglia for a new cycle of growing, exploring, uploading and storing. It’s quite incredible how much has happened in the past two weeks: a lot of clearing and rearranging, weeding and feeding (of the newly added chickens!), and reconnecting with our dear neighbours: old Italian farmers and newly arrived regenerative farmers. Our neighbour/contractor Marco has started building a water tank so we can collect more rain water.
One of the moving parts of our shared life is our daily morning practice. We do it before we eat or speak, before we even look at each other — as we do the morning practice with our eyes closed: half an hour of music on which we move freely, and half an hour of silent meditation. We start every morning at 7:30, as the church bells of the village ring.
Find some more information on our morning practice and a free playlist here. Or on YouTube here.
Our spring retreats will be starting soon.
Here is a quick overview to help you choose which retreat could inspire you most at this point in your life.
Uncover Your True Nature - for those who long to reconnect with their essence, with Oneness, with their unique expression, and living naturally.
Moving Language - for those who want to experience and participate in a living research involving language (and reality beyond language) and movement.
Inhabiting - for artists and everyone longing to integrate artistic explorative observation and habits in their (self-)inquiry.
Gentle Summer Retreat - for those who already want to plan a week of slow and meaningful Summer holidays at Amiglia.
Nature Reflecting - for those who like to exchange and create with nature in a Summer setting
Welcome to one of the Amiglia retreats. And, as always, you’re also welcome to simply come as a guest and join the ongoing rhythm of our community. This is often possible. Only when a retreat is fully booked, we need all the rooms for the participants.

Best wishes,
The Amiglia Team
