Open Call for Artists in Residence

Dear friends of Amiglia,

As we are approaching the end of the season at Amiglia, and as we are doing our own self-inquiry as a way of life — for ourselves and for Amiglia — we’ve been realising how much we like Amiglia being a place for artists.

Amiglia is a place that truly invites creativity. Being an artist is a way of life that we can all adopt. It means that we live by questions rather than answers, that we would rather see fields of possibilities than try to control life (as if that were possible).

And so, here is an open call for artists in residence. Find more detailed information on this page.

We are interested in bringing together people from different backgrounds, ages and disciplines. The main reason to apply should be that you need time to explore and create, and that you are very serious about it.

We also warmly invite you to join us for the two remaining retreats this year. One is in Dutch, the other in English. Two very different approaches, both inviting us to remember our true nature. Find out more by clicking on the pictures.

Here is a short video Zoe made about why and how she started Amiglia.

Thank you for being part of Amiglia. We love that we can create a place where we can explore as artists and remember our true nature. as humans. We realise this is a privilege. Thank you for co-creating this with us, so more and more people can benefit from Amiglia.

Much love,
Amiglia

Did you know:
- that the closest airport is the one in Genoa, and that tickets are often extremely cheap. Also to Milan.
- that there are alternatives for those who choose to avoid traveling by air: night buses and night trains go directly to Milan from cities like Antwerp, Brussels and Cologne.
