Amiglia’s first anniversary

Dear friends,

Amiglia has just celebrated her first anniversary — and we can hardly believe how much has unfolded within the soft, natural energy of this place, that gentle presence every guest seems to marvel at.

The magic of Amiglia lies in the fact that she isn’t guided by willpower or a business plan, but by a quiet allowing — an uncovering of her true self. And yes, we feel Amiglia is feminine. Like the land that surrounds her: welcoming, nourishing, healing, reconnecting, stimulating.

Over the past year, we’ve welcomed guests who came to explore and uncover their own true nature — to touch that sense of spaceless interconnectedness we all share. We’ve been deeply moved by the love they’ve poured into Amiglia, caring for the place and for one another — and not least, by the refined, healthy meals they’ve created. Cooking beautiful dishes and talking about food seem to be woven into Amiglia’s fabric. Or perhaps that’s simply being in Italy?

This summer, Rian spent an extended time with us, deepening the already profound friendship with Zoë. After the winter, Rian will continue to care for Amiglia — for the guests, the garden, the chickens, and yes, perhaps the dog — with the same effortless light and love she breathes in and out.

We closed Amiglia’s first year with two Moving Language retreats — the work that Zoë breathes in and out. (Although in Moving Language, we don’t say someone breathes - breathing simply happens.) These retreats have shown themselves to be deeply powerful and very aligned with Amiglia’s energy - both bringing us back to living naturally. The Moving Language retreats will return in 2026, alongside other retreats now being scheduled. Visit the calendar for a first glimpse — we’ll keep you updated as it unfolds.

We feel truly grateful to be part of this harbour with a view, this small piece of land on this planet, this transformative energy that keeps finding us. And with open hearts, we welcome all who feel called by Amiglia.
